End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric forklift units.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to operate these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machinery are an excellent choice for applications that need regular off and on access, as their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various businesses who maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a way which is safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The forks also include a hydraulic system that enables the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just gives much more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
